Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Although a passport is not absolutely required to return to the US, the quickest and easiest way to cross the border is for everyone to have a valid and up to date passport.

Your house! Or the place of your choosing. All of our Experiences are booked as a private event. This allows you and your group to pick the most convenient meet up spot. Your guide will pick you up and drop you off there. After a long day of wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe, there’s nothing like being dropped off right at home.

Zero. All of our wine tasting tours are private. The only people in the vehicle will be your invited guests and your amazing guide. This allows you to Experience Valle de Guadalupe on your terms, on your schedule, with your group.

The law allows one botte of wine per person when returning from Mexico to the US. We can also squeeze in one extra bottle if needed. Your amazing guide will not be bringing any wine back and will account for an extra person.

At it’s best, the border is unpredictable. This is by far the toughest part of the trip. Typically, we can expect a 60-to-90-minute wait. Sometimes we can cross quicker… sometimes we can’t. All of our guides are border crossing experts and consider several options before heading back to the US. Be assured, whichever route is the fastest way to get back to the US is the way you will be going.

Simply put, Privacy and Competition. We are obviously not the only choice for transportation from San Diego to Baja California, Valle de Guadalupe (pick up available in other areas too). Our prices are very comparable to the other companies. We will not be your cheapest option. However, you will have an Experience in Valle de Guadalupe that no one else can provide. Just contact us and we will be happy to put a custom Experience together for you. All of our pricing will be included.

We use newer model vehicles for your group’s comfort. For smaller groups, we use a full-size SUV or minivan (minivans are nice these days! Have you seen them lately?) For larger groups, we use full-size, 14 passenger vans. If your group is larger than that, we just add more vans.

A typical day trip to Valle de Guadalupe will consist of: -a quick stop for amazing tacos on the way to wine country -2 wonderful wine tastings at beautiful wineries -a delicious and filling lunch -1 more amazing wine tasting -a final stop for a scenic sunset -head back to the US. Every wine tasting trip is custom. We can easily make adjustments to the schedule to match your preferences.

NO! Every wine tasting Experience is unique. We create an Experience based on your preferences. If you don’t know what you want, that’s fine too. Our guides and our team have years of experience in the Valle de Guadalupe region. We are familiar with numerous wineries and the top restaurants. This allows us the versatility to go where you will have the best possible wine tasting Experience, according to you.

Of course. But sometimes, the one person, who went to one place, one time, isn’t the best source. It usually ends up being a tourist trap that doesn’t offer the best wines, food or Experience. Please don’t let that stop you from asking us. Tell us the name of the place, we will give you our honest assessment of the venue. Keep in mind, we have no attachment to any winery or restaurants. This allows us to give you our honest opinion, good or bad.

Nope! We also offer private transportation to Las Vegas, Nevada for your entire group. Please contact us for further information.

Sorry! Please do not hesitate to contact us for any other questions you may have. A knowledgeable and friendly member of our team will be happy to assist you.
